How to Clean Your Aura Nebulizer: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide

A clean nebulizer isn’t just about looks—it’s essential for maintaining optimal scent performance and prolonging the life of your device. Whether you use your Aura Nebulizer daily or occasionally, proper cleaning ensures your essential oils diffuse at their best.

Why Regular Cleaning Matters

Over time, essential oil residues can build up and clog the micro-nozzle or titanium disk. This reduces mist output, changes the scent profile, and can even damage the unit. Regular cleaning helps:

  • Maintain strong diffusion performance

  • Prevent oil buildup and blockages

  • Extend the lifespan of your nebulizer

  • Keep your space smelling fresh and pure

How Often Should You Clean It?

We recommend:

  • Light cleaning once every 1-2 months (especially if switching oils)

  • Deep cleaning at least once a month especially if you're heavy user.

What You’ll Need

  • Cleaning Solvent (Ethanol alcohol as an alternative)

  • Table cloth or tissue papers

  • Your Aura Nebulizer

Step-by-Step Cleaning Guide

Step 1: Turn Off and Unplug

Always ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.

Step 2: Empty Remaining Oil

Remove and pour out any leftover essential oil from the bottle. Wipe the bottle clean with a dry tissue if needed.

Step 3: Add Cleaning Solvent

Pour about 10-20ml of the Cleaning Solvent into the essential oil bottle (or directly into the nebulizer’s bottle holder if applicable).

Step 4: Run the Nebulizer

Power it on and let it diffuse the cleaning solvent for 1-2 hours. This helps flush out any oil residue inside the internal tube and nozzle.

Step 5: Let It Rest

After running, switch off the nebulizer and let the cleaning solvent sit for another 5 minutes.

Step 6: Wipe and Dry

Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to gently clean the exterior and nozzle area. Make sure everything is dry before the next use.

Bonus Tips

  • Avoid using water to clean the Aura Nebulizer—it's designed for oil-only diffusion.

  • Never shake or tilt the nebulizer while running—it could damage the internal parts.

  • Always use high-quality, pure essential oils to prevent thick residue buildup.
